Sport-specific yoga

Lexie is a Surrey, UK-based British Wheel of Yoga and Institute of Yoga Sports Science ® qualified instructor who has been teaching since 2006.

Specialising in yoga for sport, particularly cycling and running, Lexie has worked with a range of clubs including London Dynamos, Thames Turbo, Kent Velo Girls and Elmbridge Road Runners, and presented at the Prudential Ride London and Be Fit London shows. Most of her sessions, though, are taught 1/2/1 or in small groups of couples either face to face or via Zoom.

Writing and teacher training

Alongside teaching Lexie has written about stretching and yoga for a range of media, including Runner’s World, Women’s Fitness and www.theguardian.com and is the author of The Stretching Bible, Move, Yoga for Runners and Yoga for Cyclists, all published by Bloomsbury.

She is a guest tutor for the British Wheel of Yoga three-year teacher-training diploma and lectures on basic anatomy and physiology and the science of flexibility.

A former runner Lexie is a keen road cyclist and is vice chairperson and a ride leader at Surrey-based triathlon club The Viceroys.
